রশিদপুর কনডেনসেট ফ্রাকশনেশন প্লান্ট
Rashidpur Condensate Fractionation Plant (RCFP) is situated at Rashidpur under Bahubal Upazilla in the District of Habiganj, Bangladesh. The plant capacity is 3750 Barrel per Day (BPD). The plant was implemented in two phases. In the first phase, a fractionation plant of 2500 BPD capacity was installed which came into production in 2009. In the second phase, another fractionation plant of 1250 BPD capacity has been installed which came into production in 2012. Heavy condensate from different gas fields of SGFL and Chevron Bangladesh Ltd is used as feed of the plant. The products of these plants are Motor Spirit (RON 81), Kerosene and Diesel.
It is to be noted that RCFP was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on 30th April 2012.
